The older model can clamp as well if you turn the top piece 90 degrees. I got duped into buying the extreme because of the clamping ability, but compared it to my existing jack and it is able to clamp as well. I do like the wing nut better though.

Great video, broken up well and very helpful, thanks ! My problem was flickering lights and not always starting. Basically if the lights didnt stay on while cranking, it wouldnt start. Turns out my ignition switch pins/copper tabs were hanging loose and barely making connection.

maybe they made a change at some point over the last 3 years, but the directions for the Cerakote I bought recently say do not apply more than one coat.

but you dont explain how rev gear selection tells stereo to display cam. Surely it wires to reverse light?

I was searching for this type of video, and finally, I found it! I just installed my reverse camera by connecting the red wire to the head unit backup 12+ve cable, and it worked perfectly. Surprisingly, I didn't need to connect the two red and ground wires near the camera. I assumed that the ground is already included in the video cable, and we just need to provide the +12V from the head unit. But I'm now wondering if our rear camera will always be on while driving using this method??

In my opinion....I want to get the most out of my cars battery.I dont want it to leave me stranded....But...If it starts the car fine....every time....at least in the summer....I aint throwing it away no matter what the tester says.Now it is a good warning though...because you know it wont start in the winter if its saying replace..

The napa has many more functions....so its more money...I dont know why you did not mention that..

This guy is very good, intelligent.

Use a half inch drill motor and a wooden stake. Put a cut off extension in the drill the other end in a socket so you can spin ring and pinion together make sure to go both ways while adding resistance with a wooden stake do not under any circumstance put your fingers anywhere near any of the rotating components.

Had this EXACT same problem. My fix was I got rid of the rubber boot and went with a leather boot. Problem solved!!!

I am just seeing this post, I see that you had the Mopar cargo liner for the back. Did you remove the mats from the back of the seats or just cover them? Remove them all together?

That is the exact click I'm getting. Rubi TJ sits in the garage most of the time went to start and it clicked like a bad battery. Battery was older so I changed the battery and now just the click. Almost has to be the starter. 60k miles but original starter.
